What we collect

• Account information: name, email, phone, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
• Home service requests: your description, any photos you attach, and your service address.
• Contractor profiles: business details and verification documents (license, insurance) you upload.
• Marketplace records: quotes, booking amounts, disputes, reviews, and support history.
• Usage data: pages visited and actions taken, to keep the product working and to debug issues.

How AI is involved

Gojovia AI processes your request description (and any follow-up answers) to classify the job, estimate urgency, and suggest a price range. That text is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI or an OpenAI-compatible endpoint) for that single purpose. We do not use your data to train third-party foundation models.

Who we share data with

• The contractor(s) matched to your request see your job details, address, and contact info.
• Photos and verification documents are stored with our file storage provider (Cloudinary).
• If you and a contractor choose to exchange payment details directly, that payment information is not collected by Gojovia.
• We do not sell your personal information.

Payments and financial records

This version of Gojovia does not present an in-app card checkout. We may store quoted amounts, final job amounts, and dispute adjustments as marketplace records for support, bookkeeping, fraud prevention, and reporting, but we do not store full card numbers in the application.

Your choices

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by contacting privacy@gojovia.com.
